We wanted to create a place that bridges the adventures that lie in the sea with the spirit that flickers in the youthful—where adventures begin and end, where sandy slippers are docked as adventurers wait to pick up where they left off.
The key to creating the ideal getaway for the modern adventurer was understanding the needs of this particular market. This involved envisioning the Hotel Covo character—a spunky and fun sea-loving traveller—to guide the development of the B&B.
A persona that is always looking for its next adventure, the Hotel Covo character also inspired the fresh and vibrant design direction for the brand. The logo, an island oasis, features elements of the sun, sand, and sea that come together in a clean and modern icon designed to attract the fun and fearless traveller. We decided on a bold sans serif for the logo's typeface, made even friendlier with its outlined and rounded curves.
