Over 700 gallons of water are used to manufacture a single cotton T-Shirt; nearly 60% of all clothing ends up being burned or in landfills within one year of being made. In the face of the current environmental crisis, the mass production of the cultural industries is becoming a luxury we can't afford. To address this issue, we were given a task to answer subject-related questions and design a visual report. I printed my essay with environmentally-friendly paint on a second-hand T-shirt to resurrect an old piece of clothing as well as to bring meaning and value to it.
