WeContect Conference- Visual Identity

WeContent
Branding and event visual identity
If we are natural storytellers and content is the body of a well-thought-out story, can you guess what WeContent is about? Well, we do have some insights so let us give you the “long story short” version.
WeContent is the only conference in Romania that is focused on the “content” from content marketing. With international speakers as main mentors, WeContent is about a big international family that empowers the role that We, as storytellers, have in finding, creating and spreading high-quality content.
Therefore, we accepted the challenge to come up with a visual content that would make them content, pun intended. For the main logo, we chose a bold sans serif font because, as we learnt, this is how stories should be told – in a bold, clear manner. “We” is slightly overlapped with “Content” because the secret ingredient to a powerful story is the “we” factor, the personal touch a person gives to a narrative flow.
Talking about flow, the entire visual identity is guided by vibrant, straight lines. The rectangle that embraces headlines, figures and names is a key element that brings forward visual or textual content. The background is a two-step gradient because we know the magic happens in the middle, when feelings mingle with facts and emotions are given textual form. We start with a color, end up with a slightly different one, but the fun part is in the middle. It seems as we’re not really talking about colors, right?
All in all, we visualized WeContent as the place to be if you want to grow the content in content marketing. Bold and straight-forward, yet also connected and intense.
