Harvard Grad Workers demanded better wages, health care, and grievance procedures for discrimination and sexual harassment complaints.
As a result of the Harvard Strike, HGSU accomplished:
1. Signed six new tentative agreements that will protect student workers’ rights.
2. The University said publicly for the first time that they hope to reach agreement on a contract within the next month.
3. The university committed to begin mediation on January 7 to attempt to resolve the contract..
