Project 3 - Extract

For the Extract project, a challenge was finding an image on Pixabay to make the extracted image appear seamless. The process while in Layer Mask mode was not too difficult since I do have some experience with selecting options in Photoshop.  The Refine Edge tool did help a lot when it came the corners of the pants and edges of the man's hair. My concept for the image was a photograph session and the watermark of the imaginary photographer (my name) so when uploaded on social media, it would have my name to promote my fictional digital photography business. Since the image from Pixabay was in black & white, I decided to add a Hue/Saturation adjustment layer with a clipping mask to create the grayscale effect on the layer mask of the man.
