Zap & The Naturals is a Brooklyn-based band led by singer-songwriter Andrew Zapanta, along with Sarah Wood (backing vocals/keys/percs/melodica), Joel Pixley-Fink (bass), Dan Griffith (lead guitar) and Ry Pilla (drums/percs/beatbox). The band was formed in 2009 and is influenced by deep bass grooves, island rhythms, reggae, soulful vocal harmonies and urban expressions. Their debut EP “Ebb or Flow” received high acclaim in the NYC indie music scene and the band has been featured at The Montauk Music Festival and the Adventures NYC Festival by Backpacker Magazine in The Naumburg Bandshell in Central Park. In the past six months they have opened for the likes of G. Love & Special Sauce and State Radio.
