Branding Project: 

Brief: Dublin Institute of Design - To design & create a set of Brand Guidelines, Printed Collateral, Imagery and a Website for a contemporary dance version of 'Romeo & Juliet'. 

Concept: A key element of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet is the result of the young couples love which is poisoned by those feuding around them. It takes the tragic death of the young pair to make their conflicting families make amends with each other. The brands version of Romeo and Juliet will reflect that of the current climate crisis; the more we feud with our planet, the more it will punish us. From the destruction of the Amazon to the rising sea levels, the brand questions how many more tragedies will it take to make mankind realize that we need to make amends with the planet. This performance will see the couples love will poisoned by factors contributing to climate change.

USP: “no more light will be shone” - our mission is to inspire the viewer both visually and emotionally; and to challenge their ideas and feelings towards climate change

Imagery / Illustration: The brands imagery will depict 3 subject matters: Mankind, Water, Nature. All imagery will be cool toned as inspired by the Arctic - a region most affected by Climate Change.
