In 2018, CHALLENGE Studio had opportunity to work on refreshing online store for famous Polish fashion brand LaMania.
The goal of the project was to increase conversion rate, create modern and functional store and build a sense of premium brand.
The project started with discovery and research stage which was held along side with specialist from Estruktorzy. We moved to conceptual works which resulted in lo-fi and hi-fi wireframes. The new store designed by CHALLENGE was developed on Magento 2 by
a group of specialists from MONOGO.
Mixing the products of the LaMania and MindBlow lines, which
were addressed to various target groups, was also a great impulse to
change the store.
The chaotic presentation of the products of both lines meant that customers were lost
and began to turn their backs on the brand because of lack of understanding of the changes taking place. The new store clearly separated the two groups of customers.
To maintain the appropriate proportions and readability, we based website on dedicated grid, which allowed us to scale the store very
freely at different resolutions.
The previous problem of LaMania was almost zero conversion on mobile devices,
which was caused by scattered RWD and a poorly conducted shopping path.
An important new feature in the new store was the use of product mapping to increase conversions. According to research, customers were more willing to add products to the basket having a preview of how they look at the large and accurate photo of the model.
