SHAKALAKA
Artwork and other promotional material done in 2018 for "Shakalaka", a music track produced in a collaboration between Steve Aoki, Deorro, MAKJ, and Max Styler.
The work was heavily inspired by the traditional Mexican sugar skulls (calaveras), with each skull representing each artist featured on the song, using different symbols related to the artist for the decorations of their respective skulls.
