Merry ShipMas
A Christmas folding card (commissioned work) for an engeneering office based in Hamburg, that works exclusively for the shipbuilding sector. The briefing was awesome: »Illustrate whatever you want, as long as it’s about ships, ocean and christmas.«
Maritime signs are omnipresent for shipping traffic, they show the way, warn or indicate something. The final card shows boien and sea marks decorated for Christmas, modified in tiny details. Thus, in a way, they convey a »driving home for Christmas« feeling.
