LAST MAN ON EARTH
People die, the world’s on war, new diseases go over our walls, global warming, the planet burns, food is scarce,
fear advances, quarantined cities, selfishness politics, hidden truths, civil war.
I had a dream last night. I dreamed of the world, destroyed. I wandered alone in the places of my memory.
I remember the sense of cosmic loneliness walking with no directions, a huge pain in my chest burning more
than the burning charcoal.
I walked in what was left of humanity: the most absence of humanity.
How far can we go? How much longer can we destroy ourselves, generating hate, killing, lying, before it’s all too late?
I had a dream last night, I was the last man on earth.
I’m scared, I’m scared it’s not a dream anymore because the apocalypse is already here.
Is anyone there? Is anyone listening? Am I alone?
We need to stay strong.
We need to stay together.
We have to.
