"Walls of the Aesir" is inspired by the episode that Lagertha dies.
My goal here is to make a passage from real to divine world look believable and a bit subtle.
I created a colored artwork starting from a BW sketch, to vary a bit.
Since I have been using lots of photos to work as a base, as a matte painter.
This way I believe I focus more on composition and my own style, rather than rely on a photographic base at first. All was done in 2 hours.
