INSINUATING CULTURAL PREJUDICES
This is a group project of which the starting point was an exhibition by Nomusa Makhubu. Her art deals mainly with identity (mainly of black people) formed by colonial and post-colonial influence.
As a group of five: consisting of four black people, and one Asian we decided to based this project on racial and cultural prejudices that personally affected us, whether as black, female, Venda or Asian.
This resulted is photographic communication in the form of an interactive swf. file.
