Espace Wendake YQB
Project realized by Atelier Carcajou as a consultant for Jelbé, a marketing agency in Quebec City.
Client : Tourisme Wendake, an organisation promoting the Huron-Wendat community of Wendake, near Quebec City.

Tasks :
- Art direction
- Design of the general concept
- Conception of plans
- Follow up with contractors and suppliers until final delivery

The brief was to design and manage the construction of the "ESPACE WENDAKE", a special section of YQB Quebec's international airport dedicated to the Huron-Wendat's historic presence on the territory surrounding Quebec City.

The result is a series of portraits of the Huron-Wendat's at various scales; from the overall geography of the Nionwentsïo, their main customary territory, to individual portraits of Huron-Wendat people currently living in Wendake.

- Production, prints and installation : Compo Orléans
