These are work of my own.  Cholla cactus toilet paper roll holders.  My wife and I bought a house this year and I decided to replace our existing roll holders with something a little more interesting!  We live in the high desert and I collected some desiccated Cholla because i just thought is was beautiful.  The bronze is cast directly from the plant material, I guess you can call it "lost cactus casting!"  The bases are made from scrape bronze found around the shop.  I love making functional art, I think there will be more to come (maybe matching towel bars?)
