A decade ago I shot orchids at sunset with my nikon D7000 testing short depth of field and backlighting.
I started to post produce the rushes to get rid of compression artifacts, wobbling effects, shaking... I also worked hard on color grading and lensing effects. I never realy ended that work and kept it aside.

Few months ago I rediscovered that fragments and decided to create more material to make a finished piece with a little help of CG ^^ My goal was to achieve continuity with existing plates, trying to recreate the feel of light at dusk. I hope you will appreciate it !

Music by chris coleman and tony anderson
From a technical point of view, I used Maya 2018 nparticles and ncloth. For rendering I used Vray 3.6 with simple hdri-lighting, volume fog with caustic and dof straight from the renderer. Grading and compositing on After Effects.
