I recently had the opportunity to develop an identity system for a Romanian Sneaker Store called Sportselect.
This business has 4 years of activity, selling sneakers both online and offline, with shops in three different cities in Romania.
THE CHALLENGE
The core business of the shop revolved around selling baseline sneakers, and was planing an expansion to flagship sneakers. With this expansion, the shop needed a separate identity, to reflect the new premium side of the business
THE SOLUTION
Creating a premium identity branding system that reflects the shops premium side, differentiating itself at the same time from the existing Sneaker market in Romania.
Over the years the sneaker silhouette has evolved.
The contemporary sneaker has a more dynamic line, sharper and bolder shapes.
I wanted to incorporate that evolution into the logo, highlighting the heel side, witch changed the most.
The 4 instances of the logo, along with the chromatic accents can be used together to form a comprehensive and memorable identity system.
