Oppikoppi is one of the most popular music events in South
Africa. Naturally, they have a cool theme every year.
When I designed this poster, the theme happened to be
“TheFantastic Mr Vos Vos”, inspired by the Fantastic Mr. Fox.
I thought that it would be interesting if I were to develop a
character that showcased the personality of many people
who attend the event. So, I came up with my own rendition
of Mr. Vos. A cool fox, with hippie tendencies and a chilled
vibe. He has no care in the world, and thinks he knows how
to dance. Naturally, he calls everyone “China”. A cool dude,
I’d say.
