Email Marketing Project

I absolutely love shoes, so there was no hesitation on the topic. Though coming up with a design that fit the assignments requirements was the difficult part. Once I created the banner for the header of the email, it inspired the rest of the project. Pulled the colors from the flowers on the person's shirt in the image I found from unsplash. Used references from my own email subscriptions to help the idea.

What did you learn most from the project?

Completing the project taught me alot for sure, but knowing what I wanted to do when the project was assigned was helpful. Though what I learned about this project, is that this type of designing isn't for me. No, I'm not going to give up on it just yet, still need to dive in deeper and give it a chance. Another thing I learned was how to do a few things in Photoshop and Illustrator. You learn something new everyday with these programs.

What are you most proud of?

Finding motivation to do anything is a struggle for me, so I'm quite proud to say I finished the project to the best of my ability. Using a topic that instantly came to me when the project was assigned really helped me with getting the project completed. My love for shoes pushed me through to the end.

What areas still need improvement?

I feel like all art projects no matter the medium can always do with improvements. What I see in mine that could be improved is less pictures and go with one big one as the whole ad. The image could be the background, everything else required could go on top on the image. Just seems a bit too busy for what I wanted to do. Assignments are assignments thought.
