Altera Mountain Company (DBA Ikon Pass) is one of the industry’s leading ski resort companies. Owning mountains all around the globe, Altera also has some of Colorado’s most iconic mountains, such as Aspen, Steamboat, and Copper Mountain. Altera has a mission to be disruptive—both in their industry and around the globe—and we chose to highlight that mission through this mural.

Owning their Colorado-hometown pride while simultaneously representing the entirety of their international mountain portfolio, the majority of the illustrated scene was a non-specific mountain, adorned by Columbines, the Colorado state flower.
Inspired by the Hatch Print Show in Nashville as well as packaging design from the early 1900’s, this mural design feels timeless and contemporary in its old-time inspiration with new-time craft.
