"El Porton" is a typographic self portrait using a menu design to convey and talk about my cultural background from Colombia & Venezuela. The patterns, colors and typography are a culmination of the vibrancy and beauty of these countries.

Experimental typographic publication of two different excerpts by two authors. Throughout the publication, I explore the duality between the two simply using layouts and the relationship of overlapping text using transparent paper.

Vellum, After Effects, Found Footage

In Dennis Villeneuve's film, Arrival, time is interpreted in a non-linear, almost abstract way. This title sequence not only captures the visual style of the film, but also touches upon this theme of time. I explore filming found footage through a sheet of vellum to create a unified voice and cohesive manipulation of the videos.
