Paper, laser cut wood, and thread
"El Porton" is a typographic self portrait using a menu design to convey and talk about my cultural background from Colombia & Venezuela. The patterns, colors and typography are a culmination of the vibrancy and beauty of these countries.
Screen print on paper
Postcard series of hand drawn illustrations of plants native to the northern region of South America with typographic explorations. Made to eventually be a collectable series of about 10 different plant illustrations and cards.
Typographic publication & digital collage on newsprint
Outpost 61 is a fictional newspaper about traveling to, through, and around the 61 U.S. National Parks. This publication showcases several articles written by different bloggers.
A Typographic Dialogue
Typographic experiment printed on paper and vellum
Experimental typographic publication of two different excerpts by two authors. Throughout the publication, I explore the duality between the two simply using layouts and the relationship of overlapping text using transparent paper.
Vellum, After Effects, Found Footage
In Dennis Villeneuve's film, Arrival, time is interpreted in a non-linear, almost abstract way. I explore filming found footage through a sheet of vellum to create a unified voice and cohesive manipulation of the videos.
