In working with Highland Group, I art directed the 2018 and 2019 Steelcase Corporate Sustainability Report. For 2018 the concept direction was based on a theme of connections and cooperation. Working with illustrator Jody Williams, we advanced an illustration that utilizes multiple segments to build up to an overall and sophisticated image of collaboration and movement. The larger illustration was broken into parts and used throughout the book on section openers. For 2019 the concept centered on the social networks of giving back. We worked with illustrator Jordinn West to visualize this idea of the interconnectedness of Steelcase’s sustainability initiatives.
