This short film is about Koda, a 12-year-old boy, and his best friend Mr Pickles. Mr Pickles is a cat that has always been with Koda since he was young. Besides Mr Pickles, Koda also lives with Mr Dad. Mr Dad is a drug addict and has always attempted to abuse Koda when he is under the influence. Whenever that happens, Mr Pickles will always attack Mr Dad to protect Koda. One day, Koda woke up on his birthday and Mr Pickles was missing. Koda searched for Mr Pickles and finally found himself a birthday present that he will never forget.
