//These magazines are part of my master’s thesis where I created an exhibition concept to explain complex theories to students. For some theories it is important to understand the period in which it arised. I used Marshall McLuhans Theories as example for the exhibition and therefore needed to create a magazine concept to introduce the decade of 1960s to today’s students. The design is inspired by “Twen” Magazine under the Art Direction of Willy Fleckhaus in the 60s which was also designed for a target group of young people. The 4 “Sixties” Magazines are based on 4 main topics which were relevant for understanding McLuhan: technology, politics, society and astronautics of the 60s.//
