Alstom Transport has challenged universities design in 2009 to develop the interior of the AGV to Portugal.
The project Saudade proposes a space of warmth, hugging users through organic forms linking them to the comfort of a hug.
The space is divided into distinct areas for rest, work and leisure. The seats of concave shape adapts to the user, "hugging", are produced polypropylene with Klimeo coated fabric term controller. Each place has a support / console with various accessories: TV, USB connections, electricity, cupholder, etc..
The AGV Saudade provides a cozy environment for a comfortable ride metaphorising the Embrace / Saudade.
