C°F Experiments — Portal

XD
UI/UX
We created this platform to show how you can experiment with data to discover new opportunities. On this platform, you can visit a number of C°F Experiments that demonstrate how we challenge ourselves, learn and grow in a data-driven world. By doing these experiments, we can test hypotheses, work with new concepts, and discover different ways to solve problems. Along the way, we find unpredictable and interesting -things- through which we enrich our projects.

THE C°F EXPERIMENTS
The sixteen experiments are created by the C°F team the last couple of years. The experiment are created as self-initiated projects or as research for projects we did for our clients. The experiments include amongst others; atmosphere data visualisation, AI/ML drumkit experiment, AR energy usage tracking, Chicago smart city sensors visualisation, Utrecht Foursquare visit data visualisation, etc.

OVERVIEW PAGE
The portal itself is an experiment as well. We took the meta data of projects to see if we can present a new perspective on this work, as well as creating a new navigation structure to let people discover these projects in a unique way.

EXPERIMENT DETAILS PAGE
The experiment detail page tells the visitor more about the background of the experiment and provide a link to the experiment itself.

The experiment details pages include also the meta detail of the project in a simplified version of what is shown on the experiments overview page.

INTRODUCTION
To introduce the idea behind the meta data and the navigation structure we made a simple introduction animation.

SORTING
To enable the visitor to re-order the experiments based on the different parameters of the meta data we included a sorting option.
