DJ Mod3llr contacted us to create the visuals for the live presentation of his album Xplor3r. All the project was created by JM Blay. He created 11 loops of 1 min each and a lot of different experiments. The idea was to use this material and mix it with a VJ, at the end we created the whole performance in a 1 hour video matching the music.
The briefing was to create something related with space and to deliver whatever we create in grayscale. JM Blay created a few landscapes and some UI. The material we created was used also for all the graphic applications such as posters and flyers.
The project was created using Cinema 4D to create the 3D and After Effects for all the graphics and comping. All the glitches were created with Pixelsorter, Uniglitch and Hollomatrix as well as some footage mixed with the images. Some of the planets were created with Video Copilot Orb plugin. Some of the graphics were created with Trapcode Particular and Form.
