Alphabet AtoZ Silk Screen

The Story
Before I became a member of Boulder Art Association, I found a notice for an exhibition at
Cafe Aion from a local news letter and I quickly applied for entry. Some weeks later, I received an email from the coordinator, saying I was selected for their bi-monthly exhibition in September & October 2018.
I became a member of Boulder Art Association right after I received the email because this was for members only. I submitted my typography, AtoZ art and it was chosen for it’ s uniqueness and for bringing some different feeling from other artists.
I had already done a similar Art Exhibition with black printing and white paper in 2017 at OZO Coffee in Boulder. So I planned to do it again with some different techniques. I decided to create new designs with silk screen and multi-colored mix on Black paper.
Silk Screen is great idea to show the simple art in a different way. But now I realized I had a requirement for Silk Screen. I looked for a studio where I could rent and have space for
everything required. I finally found one studio available for everything. That was Ink Lounge in Denver.

The studio worked perfectly for my project. There are many color choices from Speedball-ink. Their facility included a screen washer, was very organized and easy to use.
Everything was ready for professional work.

I experimented with many different kinds of paper including black because the texture can change the printing look a lot. Also the color choice was very important to keep brightness on black background.
I finally chose Chalk Card for the background material. This paper can show these colorful inks clear and bright. I used this studio 4 times between July and August 2018.
Currently since 2019, I am creating Silk Screen Art at my own studio in Boulder CO. My studio is completely ready for all requirement and I am keep creating other new cities where I traveled.
Sometime I post on Instagram my latest alphabet images before creating Silk Screen. Mixing  with city itself's photographs together. You can check out from #fukishopcreative posts.
