Mr Perkins es una marca de mixers que nació con un solo producto: agua tónica original. Hoy tienen 6 variedades permanentes y una edición limitada con cold brewed café. Su nombre viene de PERuvian (Q)KINina, ya que el árbol de la quina, ingrediente primordial para la elaboración de las aguas tónicas, es oriundo del Perú y está en su escudo nacional. La empresa tiene como claim “make it better” y desde su nacimiento apuntaron a tener un producto premium que compita a nivel internacional, desde Latinoamérica. De hecho, el año 2019 ganaron premios internacionales de platino, doble oro y oro con tres de sus bebidas, todas las que se presentaron ganaron premios.

La marca, y su identidad visual, había nacido y crecido con un presupuesto acotado a las circunstancias; años después, era el momento de que su identidad estuviera a la altura del producto. Se había fabricado un molde único para su botella de vidrio y lo que tocaba era un re-branding y cambio de packaging. Teníamos que ser llamativos pero sofisticados y elegantes, con cierto lujo pero inclusivos.

Mr Perkins is a brand of mixers that was born with a single product: the original tonic water. Today, they have six different permanent flavors and one limited edition with cold brewed coffee. Its name came out of PERuvian (Q)KINina, because the quinine tree, fundamental ingredient of tonic water, is native from Peru and part of the national emblem. The company has as claim “make it better” and from the beginning they intended to have to have a premium product in order to compete world wide form Latin America. Indeed, they have won several prices in 2019: platinum, doble gold and single gold with 3 presentations; all the samples they sent had a price.

The brand and is visual identity was born with some budget limitation, but years after, it was the time to improve its visual identity in order to achieve the quality of the product. In that moment, that had redesigned their glass bottle, what was needed to then, was a re-branding and packaging. We had to be flashy but sophisticated and elegant, with some luxury but inclusive.
