JINSA’s Deserving Soldiers Holiday Appeal Helps America

New York resident Shalom Lamm is the former managing member of Lion & Lamm Development, where he oversaw the acquisition, repositioning, and sale of thousands of apartments. Outside of his professional pursuits, Shalom Lamm served on the board of directors of the Jewish Institute for National Security of America (JINSA).

JINSA offers programs that support America’s military and security personnel. One of the organization's programs is Deserving Soldiers Holiday Appeal. For this program, JINSA, in collaboration with the US Special Operations Command Warrior Care Coalition, appeals to Americans for donations to help US troops and their families.

Since the program started in 2003, JINSA has raised over $1 million to support America’s military. While donations cannot restore lost limbs or loved ones, they can make heavy situations lighter. Every year, the US Special Operations Command Warrior Care Coalition receives nominations of wounded soldiers from military commanders and then coordinates with JINSA to channel funds to their families. These funds go a long way toward paying medical debts, among other costs.
