"Traces of the Past" commissioned by Rosendahl A/S, Denmark. 

This was a large ceramic installation consisting of 35 columns each measuring between 2-4 meter tall and only 5cm-10cm wide, individually decorated, with markings and pressings. The columns were custom-made for this particular design office, and give a sense of gravity defying, upward reaching artwork. The columns are made of red and black grogged clay with raw china clay and slip to enhance the textures and patterns.
