This is a competition brief but also a personal brief, the competition was for Creative Conscience to create a positive change to something that’s close to you.
The idea of the pack is that even though their parents are getting a divorce it doesn’t stop them from loving you. The front of the pack are a family of owls together, when you then open the pack the parent owls are divided on each flap leaving the child in the middle.
The timetable helps the child build structure and routine in their life with help of the stickers the child will know where they are staying during the week.
The information and activity booklet is for the child and parent to work together through, there are activities such as ‘post card club’ where the child is encouraged to write letters to the parent they no longer live. The information inside helps the child understand what divorce is and whom they can talk to.
The owl expression kit is so the child can make their own owl and express what they are feeling by using the owl eyes.
