Islamophobia in Australia Report - II
The 2019 Islamophobia in Australia report, produced by Charles Sturt University’s
Centre for Islamic Studies and Civilisation, accounts for a multi-faceted analysis of
verified incidents reported to the Islamophobia Register Australia by victims, proxies,
and witnesses in the two-year period of 2016-17.
I was involved through the preliminary stages of the design process, including providing
Stylescapes to the marketing team, strategy meetings, custom designed infographics, icons,
graph charts, patterns, editorial design and finalising print production.
The hexagon design was used as a carry on element from the previous report design, the client wanted the current report to have 'memories' of the old report identity, but still wanted the design of the new report to have its own identity.
Majority of the report had infographics regarding different forms of Islamophobia, to avoid confusion between chapters, each chapter was given its own colour, which was reflected in the overall theme of that chapter including chapter highlights and infographics.
