The selection of illustrations made for the bilingual Polish-Serbian poetry volume Mózg · Mozak [Brain] by Olga Lalić-Krowicka.
The volume is a collection of haiku and short poems which speak of a struggle with memories and consciousness within the confines of a mind deeply shaken by the experience of war. The brain becomes the subject, the tool, and the context of recovery, experiencing and witnessing the way out of the hardest of fights, which keeps going on long after the guns turn silent. Completed in 2011, it was eventually released in spring 2012 in Krosno, Poland.
