The 4 Apocalyptic Knights

THE
4 APOCALYPTIC KNIGHTS x Fernweh

Fernweh is a fashion brand, which their targets are Vietnamese teenagers.

Their products always have stories beneath it. Their stories are based on their universe which attach with the image of a adorable adventurous round-headed cat.

In this collection I collaborated with Fernweh a couple of months ago, their stories are about to be inspired by the Bible, particularly the images of the 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse.
Although there were a little changes in the design and naming, but overall, the main point was to create characters that were both suit the appealing and cuteness requirements of Fernweh.

The background color choices were chosen before the brief was given to me, so I did try my best to adapt to the theme.

The hard part was to create something that were both apocalyptic and cute, at the same time. From the print, to the embroidered icons refered to each character.

And here are the final artworks of those 4.
Hope you enjoy it.
The 4 Apocalyptic Knights
The DEATH HORSEMAN - this is my favorite character of the four. Since the iconic scythe and skull represent the death, and the color combination of yellow, mint and black were looking great on him.
The WAR HORSEMAN - the sword is his iconic weapon, but instead of 1, I chose to put in some more to give him some more of power.
The CONQUEST HORSEMAN - instead of the Pestilence, with the bow and arrow as his most recognizable weapon.
The FAMINE HORSEMAN - the weight is the iconic accessory attach with this horseman.
Here are the 4 icons represent each of them.
THANK YOU FOR YOU APPRECIATIONS.
