In 2018 I participated in one international project. Main idea of this project was - to create a book co-authored and co-illustrated by different people. Beginning of each story was given on Instagram by the main author of this project. Each subsequent author wrote a new sentence for the story. So no one could have guessed how the story would end. Language of stories is Russian.
When the story was ready, illustrator began to create 4-5 illustrations for it.
I was lucky to illustrate two stories: "How we found our treasure in childhood" [RU: "Как мы в детстве клад нашли"] and "Summer track" [RU: "След лета"].
This story is about two children, brother and sister, who spent their summer vacation in the village with their grandmother.
When they were playing in the hut they found an old casket in the hole of the floor. But they couldn't open this casket. So children decided to hide it in the cart under the coverlet when grandmother called them for dinner.
After dinner children managed to open the old casket and found there small picture of their grandmother when she was young.
That night the children slept poorly. They saw their young grandma near the mirror combing her hair and calling the children to come with her.
In the morning children asked granny who painted her portrait which they found. It turned out that this was a twin-sister of grandmother, who drowned under strange circumstances at 25 and now her ghost tormented the guys...
Kate wanted to celebrate unusual her 25th birthday with her husband. They put their ideas in the hat and started to draw lots. The lot fell on a note that they did not write but found in the hat: "Summer is a small life. Live it for real!" So they decided to celebrate Kate's Birthday in Crimea.
While the young were looking for housing, they were faced with poaching. But in fact it was a played performance for Kate to bring her to romantic dinner on the seashore.
Everything went according to plan, but no one expected Kate's first love, Anton, to appear...
