Cloud Decorations
Manufacturing and installation were carried out by our studio for the banquet hall "Pushkin Manor" with an area of 250 sq.m.by project of Sensitive design studio .
The layout of the hall. This is somewhere around 100 m2 of clouds. That is, 5 clouds 4x5 m each and inside the last three-meter balloon.
The design is based on flat steel wire rings. We took 2 mm. Already holds the form, but still bends by hands. Modules were assembled from such rings, about 2 m each (the clouds were made in the workshop, and then installated in the hall, so they had to be carried through the doors.
The volumetric surface of the clouds was made of steel mesh in a plastic shell, then sheathed with synthetic winterizer of two types.
Each cloud weighs about 100 kg. Therefore, we built a crane from scaffolding and ladders
After lifting we attach the suspensions to the ceiling. For each cloud about 10 points.
