This art graphic was created for San Francisco State University's Department of Undergraduate Education and Academic Planning. After weeks and even months of coming up with ideas, a logo was finally actuated. This piece was used throughout the campus, for 30,000 people to see, as well as on the university's site. The point of this graphic was to depict a merge between transfer students and the university. I wouldn't call it an assimilation, but rather a welcoming. A dynamic, yet organic curve as well as the colors were used to illustrate this action of welcoming and merging.
