Field of Presence is an interactive sensory experience designed for a Shiseido brand experience pop-up store located in Jewel Changi to enhance and promote Brand Shiseido and its key product - Ultimune.

Our design seeks to help visitors experience the Shiseido brand by awakening beauty through the elegant discovery of inner and outer beauty. True beauty is not just the essence of what you are but also the presence of which you exude, so our concept - Field of Presence - encapsulates the sheer essence of Shiseido’s beauty that is awakened by extending its radiance and aura into the surroundings.
In line with Shiseido’s love for nature, we awaken beauty through the mimicry of Bamboo forests and fields. Rods as the medium strive to bring together the duality of nature and the rigidity of the urban. Taking advantage of the height limit of 1.2 meters, we created curiosity from the outside while masking the preciousness of center discovery.
The heights and colors were carefully curated to create a sense of movement through stillness while highlighting the 5 zones and conveying the gracefulness and elegance of which Shiseido embodies. To hold mechanical parts, thicker topological shaped platforms are designed for a natural creation of storage.

Accompanying the space is an app that complements and enhances the guests’ journey. It provides a more personalized and curated experience, with music that accompanies the space. Found in the Information Zone, the app is also downloadable by the QR code listed and connected to the Changi Airport App which also features the Shiseido Forest Valley S E N S E experience - a connecting campaign by Shiseido Group. 
By surrounding the precious Ultimune product at the center with field of darker rods, the space directly around it convey its preciousness as a poetic metaphor to the discovery of inner beauty.
