This is the part of my daily high-end work that I enjoy the most. Applying creative techniques and experience to solve challenging lighting issues; compositing several different poses; correcting imperfections that would otherwise offend a marketing team and much worse - cost money. These are the "bread and butter" projects which will end up selling products and services like cosmetics, computers and cars. Completing the magic that a photographer or illustrator conceptualized and captured is a uniquely rewarding experience that really defies explanation. When one can be involved in all stages of this process it is even better and can provide a very fulfilling sense of accomplishment that satisfies a creative need as well as displaying technical facilities that only a handful of veteran retouchers can command.
