SOUNDWAVE TRANSLATION -
ANALOGUE & DIGITAL
Taking a given song (Goran Bregovic: Scena pojavljivanja majke) and translating it both physically and digitally.
Analogue Translation: Using a tomato can, ballon, piece of glass and laser pointer I was able to produce visual translations of the notes on a piece of tarp. This was done in order to get a better sense of note variation and abstraction.
Digital Translation: Using various shapes, the song was translated digitally as well. I felt it was rather calming to listen to which justifies my use for a pale blue colour palette and simple icons.
