The Messiah College Advent mailer is a fundraiser and stewardship piece for the office of development, the fundraising office of the college. Typically, this piece yields the highest return rate for the giving campaigns throughout the year. Therefore, the design and production of the piece is higher-end but also affordable. 

The package includes:

1. A booklet with weekly prayers and verses about Christmas from faculty and staff members 

2. A letter tailored to the recipient using variable data and unique URLs to track responses

3. A response card using variable data and unique URLs to track responses​​​​​​​

4. A response card envelope 

5. A matching envelope for the entire package

6. Matching web and social media images were also created.

The print components package were printed offset and digital and, with close collaboration with the press, the two processes seamlessly matched.

The booklet cover was printed with 3 inks (PMS 668, 500 + 5405) on Neenah Stardream Crystal Cover paper. The interior pages of this 16-page booklet were printed 2 inks (PMS 668 + 5405) on Neenah Classic Crest Bright White eggshell finish.

The letter matched the interior pages and was printed on the same paper with the same 2 inks.

For cost saving and ease of printing, the reply card was printed with one ink (PMS 668) on Neenah Classic Crest Bright White eggshell finish cover weight paper.

The envelopes were printed with one ink (PMS 668) on standard bright white envelopes. 

Below are the various web and social media graphics created to complement this. The prayers were released weekly via social media throughout the Christmas season. Since I created the initial design, I delegated the design of the web and social media components to a student designer who used my original design to create these.
