United Nations - Endangered species stamps

This project was a real challenge, an honor to have worked for the UN and to create the special set of UN stamps project featuring endangered migratory species.

On 17 February UNPA will issue its 2020 Endangered Species stamps focusing on the plight of migratory species. For this year’s series, UNPA has partnered with both the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) as well as the Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species (CMS) to help raise awareness about the plight of these endangered animals.
The stamps were issued in conjunction with the thirteenth session of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals (CMS COP13) which were be held from 15-22 February 2020 in Gandhinagar, India. The theme for the conference is “Migratory species connect the planet and together we welcome them home”.
I thank the team from UN, that accompanied me and supported me in this fantastic project and important for the safeguarding and preservation of species
A very special thanks to Rorie and Pamela
