Photography
Here are a selection of photos I have taken around the United Kingdom of buildings that had architectural features that I was interested in or liked.
I am particularly interested in imposing and grandiose architecture, Examples can be found in the streets of Bath and The Lace Market in Nottingham.
Here are some photos that I have taken over the last couple of years that demonstrate my interest in photography outside of architecture.
For these next few sets of photos, I attempted to take a series of photos from the same place and angle. Each photo was taken on three consecutive days on my daily cycle to a cycle maintenance course I was partaking in at the time.

I then made a scale model of the entire area out of foam board.
I then decided to design the floor plan of a small hotel to fit onto the site as per the design brief in the worksheet.
A - Level Biomimicry Project
The idea of this project was to push the boundaries of all of the class's imaginations as well as forcing us to carry effective and in depth research. The project was designed to take us all out of our comfort zones. We all picked two random sports out of a hat and then a random animal. This meant that we had to conduct research that could open up as many doors as possible as in many cases the animal we had picked out had no clear links to the sports we had.
There is no final product for this project as it was aimed at research, development of ideas and generating creative ideas.
Garden Steps Home Project
These are the final designs that I came up with. The design on the right is preferred by the rest of the family and is likely to be the one that is used.
Computer Aided Design (CAD) Work
All CAD was performed in Autodesk Fusion 360
The following are some designs from a project where I decided to construct a storage box for my karate belts.
I have done some other CAD work; this time on a more recent project. I am designing a bag to fit onto a full suspension mountain bike that is able to carry camera equipment and keep it all safe. It is also designed to be able to be used off the bike, for example on a walk.
This design was 3D printed using a printer at school. I printed it larger than it would normally be so I could see where any improvements would need to be made.
It is a little bit stiff but the ratchet works and is completely releasable. It will only come undone once the button on the top is pressed and will not be shaken loose.
