IV Residence

IV Residence is a project designed by Studio Brent Lee, inspired by century old buildings that nature has slowly reclaimed.

As a CGI artist, I contributed to this project by creating spaces and then detailed shots that would perfectly match the aesthetics of Studio Brent Lee. Most of the furniture for this design was modeled and textured by me; all rustic chairs, wooden tables, flower pots, sofa, bed and trees. Each element has been textured with attention to the smallest details. The elaborate work on textures allowed me to achieve results of space and elements touched by time.

Notes from the designer, Studio Brent Lee:

Photographers such as Romain Veillon and Romain Chancel have eminently captured inspiring moments and their work has had a genuine response in the imagination of a residential building that evokes the emotions one feels when entering these buildings where time in human creation has paused and Mother nature has taken back what was hers.

French limestone and oak timber adorn the flooring throughout while lime plastered walls, columns and ceilings allow the building to breathe naturally. A stone pool has stairs that lead from the garden to the water within enclosed green hedges. Tadelakt finished pots and mature plant life are throughout the residence, purifying the air and giving a sense of privacy parallel to the tall glass and patinated iron French doors that open to the lush hinterland.
