Bot Trading Platform

The prototype was created voluntarily as the first real-life experience in UX/UI design. The initial idea was to create a simple mockup that would be sent to developers as a general guideline. 1 month later, we decided that the prototype would include all of the possible features that will be present in the app, as the founder decided to share the prototype with potential customers.

Customer Focus

The app has a B2C business model, targetting 2 different types of users: experienced developers and ordinary users. The developers build the cryptocurrency trading bots using the powerful platform engine, written in Python, and all other users have an opportunity to rent these bots through a marketplace. The focus of the app is to acquire the second type of users by creating an easy to use the marketplace and convenient trading tracker.

Prototype Development

The image below displays a completed prototype of the app. There are 4 main sections, which will be looked at closer: login procedure, main dashboard (real & virtual balance), marketplace and settings.

Login

The login section quickly introduces users to the functionality of the app and has 2 registration options: normal and with a virtual account that will have a free bot already attached. For a deeper experience, interaction with text forms was included.

Dashboard

The main dashboard shows all active bots, account balance with all purchased cryptocurrencies. The black dashboard represents a real account and white with virtual balance. It also allows users to launch, remove and pause bots.
