Motherhood Maternity Graphics

The "All Boobs Are Good Boobs!" graphic was originally designed to go on a totebag, which was used as a free gift-with-purchase during the month of August for National Breastfeeding Month 2019. It was very quickly adopted by the marketing team and used as the main focus of their National Breastfeeding Campaign for the company: #MyMomTruths. Through this campaign, our company encouraged moms to share their own personal stories with breastfeeding, or motherhood in general. The design was received extremely well on social media and it was an amazing experience to read all the stories shared by mothers across the country. I am proud of the Motherhood Maternity brand for taking a chance on using a potentially risky design; While the graphic departed from the more conservative norms and guidelines that the company generally follows, the design speaks to the heart of an everyday struggle for moms of babies (breastfeeding) and has a strong message of body positivity that more moms need to hear.
The "Eat Local" graphic came out shortly after the National Breastfeeding Month campaign and quickly became popular with our new moms. We paired this mixed-font, tongue-in-cheek graphic on a clever new design for a nursing tee, which had invisible zippers to allow for easy nursing access.
The "Babes who Brunch" graphic was designed for a matching set which included both a nursing crew-neck sweatshirt for mom, as well as a simple cotton onesie for her new baby. This graphic plays with the double meaning of the word "Babes" in the maternity world, while also appealing to our company's millennial customer who understands the true joy of a great brunch.
The "Santa Baby" graphic was a hand-drawn font which was then put into Adobe Illustrator and turned into a vector. The intarsia technique that was used to achieve this design on our simple sweater body gave a timeless, Christmas sweater feel to an easy holiday graphic.
