Being a sibling to a differently-abled sister, the relationship that we share has been shaped by her physical restrictions. Her perspective is vital to look through as it affects my daily routine. The floor of our home, the space that she occupies, and her surroundings have inspired my work. Her life revolves around these spaces.
As for me, they are recognitions of her existence, and thus the emotional relationship with the places around the house are far unique than that of quintessential sentiments that one has in her/his household.
