CHAIR REHABILITATION PROJECT
This project was about experimenting by using an old lounge chair frame from our university. I had the opportunity to design the
seat and the backrest and experiment with the materials as well.
My lounge chair was created to reflect the spirit of the Bauhaus, referring to the 100 years anniversary. My main inspiration was Marcell
Breuer, who mostly worked with steel, but he also liked experimenting with plywood bending. The combination of art and technology offers
the opportunity to create a harmonious appearance both in form and function. This concept has become the idea of my work.

LINUS has three main elements, which are made by the technique of bending plywood. I lifted the seat from the frame,
creating a floating effect. These organic forms with the black iron frame complement each other.
